The Power of One Dram to ‘’Vahe Meliksetyan’’ Foundation

YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. The April beneficiary of ‘’The Power of One Dram’’ initiative was the “Davitbek Games” Foundation. The accumulated 5,293,423  AMD will give an opportunity to the foundation to expand its activities by reaching more young people within the framework of the annual pan-Armenian competition-festival held in Syunik.

The beneficiary of May is the ‘’Vahe Meliksetyan’’ Foundation, named after Vahe Meliksetyan, a clinical pharmacist, scientist, and lecturer at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at Yerevan State Medical University, who died in the 2020 Artsakh war.  ‘’One drams’’, collected during the initiative will be used to organize a half marathon in Vanadzor, Lori region. The goal of the project is to encourage a healthy lifestyle among residents, activate regional community life. Financial literacy seminars will also be organized during the half-marathon.

Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communication and Social Responsibility Programs department at Idram and IDBank, notes: “By supporting this initiative, we aim to promote the sustainable and continuous development of regions and communities, which is one of the key directions of Idram and IDBank’s corporate social responsibility. We also emphasize that the project includes an important educational component, creating new opportunities for the development of the financial knowledge and skills. Within the framework of cooperation with the Foundation, we plan to implement financial and digital literacy courses. We are confident that this event will become a valuable sports and educational platform.”

Sargis Meliksetyan, Executive Director of the ‘’Vahe Meliksetyan’’ Foundation noted: ‘’It is a great honor for us to once again become a beneficiary of ‘’The Power of One Dram’’ initiative. This cooperation is of particular importance to us, as back in 2021, Idram and IDBank became the first corporate partners of the newly established foundation. We express our gratitude and are confident that, through our joint efforts, we will be able to bring the ‘’VMH Vanadzor Half Marathon 2026’’ to life, promoting a healthy lifestyle and community engagement in the Lori region.’’

‘’The Power of One Dram’’ continues to support important social, community and educational initiatives. To participate in the initiative’s good deeds, all the payments must be made through the Idram&IDBank app, IDBanking.am and banking.idram.am online platforms, Idram and IDBank terminals, and for each payment, companies will alocate one dram to important programs.
