VTB (Armenia): “Stable” Deposit – Up to 10% Per annum and Opening via Mobile App

YEREVAN, July 30. /ARKA/. Retail clients of VTB (Armenia) can open a “Stable” deposit at a rate of up to 10% per annum when deposited in the national currency for a term of 12 months. This product combines competitive returns, flexible service terms, and the ability to open deposits via the mobile app or at bank branches.

The maximum interest rate on the “Stable” deposit in Armenian drams is 10% per annum (effective interest rate: up to 9.97% per annum) when deposited for a term of one year and amounting to at least 4 million drams.

An additional benefit for clients opening a deposit of at least 4 million drams is the opportunity to subscribe to VTB (Armenia)’s individual “Privilege” package. The package provides access to an expanded range of services and privileges, ensuring a high level of comfort and personalized service for both the client and one member of their family.

“The ‘Stable’ deposit continues to be in high demand among our clients. By the end of the first half of 2026, the deposit portfolio had grown by 50% compared to the same period last year, and the number of deposits opened had increased by 20%. High demand for the product is driven not only by the competitive interest rate but also by the development of customer services. When opening a deposit, clients gain access to special service conditions in the ‘Privilege’ zones, the network of which continues to expand throughout the country. Furthermore, opening a deposit can be done quickly and conveniently remotely through the new mobile app, which has also contributed to the growth in deposit volumes,” commented Taras Kladchenko, Deputy CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB (Armenia).

Interest on the deposit is paid at the client’s discretion: at the end of the deposit term, monthly, or with monthly capitalization. Deposits are available in three currencies: Armenian drams, Russian rubles, and euros.

Detailed information about the terms of the “Stable” deposit is available on the bank’s official website, at VTB (Armenia) branches, and by calling the Contact Center at 87 87.

Individual savings are guaranteed by the Deposit Guarantee Fund. Income tax on deposit interest is 10% per annum.
