Capital of Armenian credit institutions increased by 2.82% in the first half of 2026 compared to the beginning of the year, exceeding 467 billion drams

YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. The total capital of Armenian credit institutions in the first half of 2026 amounted to 467.14 billion drams, an increase of 1.99% compared to the end of the first quarter and 2.82% compared to the beginning of the current year. This is evidenced by the consolidated financial report of the country’s credit institutions. As of June 30, 2026, the total capital structure was divided into authorized capital of AMD 271.03 billion, accumulated profit of AMD 170.79 billion, general reserve of AMD 13.3 billion, share premium of AMD 6.66 billion, revaluation reserve of AMD 4.75 billion, and other capital components of AMD 614.1 million.

Thus, approximately 58% of total capital is accounted for by the authorized capital, and approximately 37% by accumulated profit.
