Assets of Armenian credit institutions exceeded 905 billion drams in the first half of the year, up 5.12% from the beginning of the year

YEREVAN, August 6. /ARKA/. The total assets of Armenia’s credit institutions as of June 30, 2026, amounted to 905.17 billion drams, an increase of 2.58% compared to March 31, 2026, and a 5.12% increase from the beginning of the year. This is evidenced by the consolidated financial statements of the country’s credit institutions.

Loans to customers, other borrowings, and leasing operations account for a significant portion (75.32%) of the asset structure, the volume of which amounted to 681.76 billion drams at the end of June 2026. The investment portfolio, worth AMD 102.3 billion, accounts for 11.30% of the total, while funds placed in banks and other money market investments account for 4.62% (amounting to AMD 41.78 billion), cash and bank accounts account for 3.20% (amounting to AMD 28.99 billion), fixed assets and intangible assets account for 1.09% (amounting to AMD 9.88 billion), and receivables from other transactions account for 0.14% (amounting to AMD 1.29 billion).

Other assets, worth AMD 39.17 billion, account for 4.33%.
