YEREVAN, October 1. /ARKA/. Acba Bank, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia summed up the results of musical and cultural projects jointly implemented over many years.
During the event, the jingle of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, created specifically for the 30th anniversary of Acba Bank, was performed for the first time – a short, bright and easy-to-remember piece of music that will become Acba’s musical calling card.
As part of the event, the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia performed works from the album “Aznavouriana”, recorded as part of a trilateral collaboration and released under the world famous Deutsche Grammophon label, as well as works from the album “Symphonic Lullabies”, recorded as a result of the same collaboration.
The special guest of the evening was the famous French cellist Camille Thomas.
Cooperation between Acba Bank and the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund began in 2012. From the income received from non-cash transactions of more than 300,000 Barerar Bank Visa cardholders, Acba Bank, at the expense of its own profits, transfers funds to a special account of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund in order to implement sustainable and promising projects for society.
“It is very important for us what values we give to our society, since it is valuable for us to have a literate, educated and healthy society. I would like to thank our partners – the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, and I am confident that our cooperation will last for a very long time,” said Hakob Andreasyan, Chief Executive Officer of Acba Bank.
Executive Director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Aramais Avetisyan stated, in turn, that the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and Acba Bank demonstrate a brilliant example of cooperation.
“Thanks to the funds received from the transactions of Acba Bank Barerar Visa cardholders, we are implementing joint projects aimed at developing communities in Armenia. Thus, we not only raise the necessary funds for the implementation of projects, but also provide more than 300,000 cardholders with the opportunity to become participants in the implementation of our projects, strengthening communities and, ultimately, strengthening our state,” Avetisyan noted.
Head of Public Relations of Acba Bank Narek Asatryan said that over the past 3-4 years, within the framework of the Visa “Barerar” program, Acba Bank, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia have implemented several very significant projects.
“Today’s concert, first of all, was a gift for our partners and employees. Secondly, it became a kind of report on the work done and the results achieved. Thirdly, it marked a new start for the implementation of future projects,” Asatryan noted.
Concert participants also had the opportunity to “travel” through the paintings of Martiros Saryan using VR glasses and play the role of a conductor to the sounds of Aram Khachaturian’s ballets “Spartacus” and “Gayane”.
The bank is controlled by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
