YEREVAN, April 22 /ARKA/. The loan portfolio of Armenia-based commercial banks as of 31.03.2024 amounted to over AMD 5.1 trillion, having increased by 1.7% or AMD 86.8 bln during the first quarter of the current year.
According to ARKA news agency’s ranking, Ameriabank is the leading bank in terms of loan portfolio size, which amounted to AMD 996.3 bln during the reporting period (1.2% growth).
The second position is held by Ardshinbank, whose loan portfolio amounted to AMD 676.5 bln (0.7% growth).
The third line is occupied by Acba Bank, whose loan portfolio amounted to AMD 553.1 bln (2% growth).
The ranking is compiled based on the agency’s bulletin “Banks of Armenia”, which in turn is based on the reports of Armenian banks published in accordance with the l IFRS standards.
