EBRD Annual Meeting to be held in Yerevan

YEREVAN, April 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan received a delegation headed by Secretary General of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Kazuhiko Koguchi, the Finance Ministry’s website reports. 

“The sides discussed details of the EBRD annual meeting to be held in Yerevan on May 14-16. In particular, they touched upon organizing the EBRD Annual Meeting and stressed that all efforts are being made to properly organize the unprecedented EBRD Annual Meeting in Armenia,” the ministry said.   

The sides expressed satisfaction with the effective interaction and constructive discussions in this process.  

EBRD is one of the leading institutional investors in Armenia. Among its main priorities in Armenia are increasing the competitiveness of companies and supporting financial sector intermediation through risk-sharing products.

EBRD has invested over €2 billion in 207 projects in the country in areas such as energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and finance. -0-
