Number of operations with securities at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange drops in November

YEREVAN, December 8, /ARKA/. The number of operations with securities at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange in November dropped steeply if compared to the previous month, totaling 38.4 million Drams, down significantly from 734.3 million in October. The downfall was 94.8%.

The operations with corporate bonds totaled 1.7 million Drams making 4.4% of all deals. Operations with shares amounted to 26.6 million Drams or 69.5% of all deals.

The leader in terms of stock exchange deals on corporate bonds was HSBC Bank Armenia-855,300 Drams, or 50.5% of all deals on corporate bonds at NASDAQ OMX Armenia.

The Armenian Development Bank and Artsakh Hydropower Plant companies effected deals on shares. The Armenian Development Bank accounted for 10 million Drams deals on shares, or 99.9% of all deals on shares.

As of November 30, 12 shares and 12 corporate bonds were registered and listed at NASDAQ OMX Armenia. The stock exchange’s capitalization was 55.9 billion Drams ($1 – 385.01 Drams). -–0—
