Armenian Ministry of finance warns large companies against failure to publish their financial reports

YEREVAN, April 14, /ARKA/. Armenian ministry of finance has warned today that the deadline for all large companies to publish their financial reports, certified by independence auditors is July 1. 2010.

According to a statement posted on the ministry’s official website, large company is a company that had a turnover last year exceeding 1 billion Drams.

Armenian prime minister Tigran Sarkisian said last week the government would toughen the crackdown on tax evasion, practiced by large companies which grossly which underreport their revenues. He said that some 285 Armenia-based companies with an annual revenue of over 1 billion drams will be required to submit their financial reports to tax authorities, certified by independent auditors, starting from this year, as required by law.-0-

The total credit and leasing portfolio of Armenian credit institutions as of December 31, 2025, amounted to 659.7 billion drams, an increase of 13.96% compared to the same period in 2024.
