Net loan portfolio of Armenian banks in Q2 2025 increased by 6.11% to AMD 6.8 trillion

YEREVAN, August 4. /ARKA/. The combined loan portfolio of 17 Armenia-based commercial banks upped  by 6.11% in Q2 2025 compared to Q1 2025, amounting to AMD 6.82 trillion, according to a ranking compiled by  the ARKA news agency.

As of the end of June this year, Ameriabank was the leading bank in terms of loan portfolio size. The bank’s lending amounted to AMD 1.46 trillion (an increase of 10.58% compared to Q1 2025).

Ardshinbank was second, with a net loan portfolio of AMD 1.31 trillion (an increase of 6.27%). ACBA Bank was hird with a net loan portfolio of AMD 578.6 billion (growth – 3.42%).

The ranking is compiled based on the news agency’s bulletin “Performance indicators of Armenian banks. Operational data for the second quarter of 2025”, which in turn is based on the banks’ reports in accordance with IFRS.
