Martin Galstyan discussed Armenia’s implementation of the Fund’s structural benchmarks with the IMF mission

YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. Central Bank of Armenia Governor Martin Galstyan held a final meeting with Alexander Tieman, head of the IMF mission to Armenia, the regulator’s press service reported.

The main results of the mission’s visit were summarized, and the interlocutors touched upon the macroeconomic situation, existing challenges, and near-term policy directions.

Progress in implementing the IMF’s structural benchmarks was also discussed, and progress in their implementation was documented.

The parties reaffirmed the importance of continued cooperation, emphasizing joint efforts to maintain economic stability, effectively manage risks, and develop the financial system.
