1,294 commercial organizations and 5,545 individual entrepreneurs registered in Armenia in Jan-June 2010

YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. Some 1,294 commercial organizations and 5,545 individual entrepreneurs have been registered in Armenia over the first six months of this year, National Statistical Service reports.

Of them, 1,248 were Ltd companies and 39 closed joint stock organizations.

According to the statistical report, Armenia had 61,782 registered commercial organizations and 79,806 individual entrepreneurs in early July 2010 against 60,032 and 70,856 in early July 2009.

Some 323 legal entities were dissolved and activities of 981 individual entrepreneurs terminated in Jan-June 2010. -0–
