Armenian Central Bank’s board presents 2012-2014 development strategy

YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. The board of the Central Bank of Armenia has worked out the 2012-2014 development strategy, which is mainly focused on financial stability, prices stability, institutional development and circulation of the national currency, the central bank says in its report.

Transparency of monetary policy, enhancement of public confidence and improvement of forecast and analysis system amid inflation are among the regulator’s top-priority objectives for the mentioned period.

For financial stability the central bank intends to create a financial system able to ensure timely assessment of risks and an effective crisis-controlling system, enhance the population’s financial awareness and implement reforms for sustainable development of financial institutions in Armenia. -0-
