Central bank of Armenia to auction 14 billion drams worth bonds in October

YEREVAN, September 27. / ARKA /. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) said today it plans to place 14 billion drams worth government bonds in October. Its press service told ARKA that on October 11 and 18 it will auction mid-term government treasury coupon bonds of AMGN36294142 and AMGN60294166 series each worth 3 billion drams.
The yield on a bond is expected to be 11% and the maturity periods will be 3 and 5 years respectively. Payments on coupon will be carried out once every six months.
In October the Central Bank is planning to place also short-term government treasury bonds with 52, 11, 9, 26, 39 and 13 weeks maturity periods. -0-YEREVAN, September 27. / ARKA /.
