Net Internal Assets Of CB, Banks And Crediting Organizations Grow By 3.7% In August

YEREVAN, October 7. / ARKA /. Armenia’s Central Bank (CB) said in a statement posted on its official website that its net internal assets as well as net internal assets of commercial banks and crediting organizations grew by 3.7% in August compared to July, to 934.8 billion drams.

It said also their total monetary aggregates in August grew by 0.5% from July to 1.016.9 trillion drams.

According to the Central Bank statement, deposits in foreign currency grew by 1% from July to 432.1 billion drams, the amount of available cash also grew by 1% to 320.8 billion drams, call deposits dropped by 3.5% to 140.5 billion drams while time deposits grew by 3% to 123.5 billion drams.

There are 21 commercial banks and 31 crediting organizations in Armenia. ($1 – 374.89 drams). -0-
