Non-commercial remittances to Armenia grew by 31.2% in October — WB

YEREVAN, December 22. /АРКА/. In October, net non-commercial remittances sent to Armenia grew by 31.2% (annualized) compared to 16.2% in September, according to the World Bank’s “Armenia Monthly Economic Update – November 2025” report.

“This was due to a 2.2-fold increase in the net inflow of remittances from Russia (65.3% of the total volume) in October, while the net inflow from the USA decreased by 14%, and from other countries – by 71.4%,” the report says.

It is also noted that in the monthly calculation there is a continuing decrease in the inflow. 11% in September and 5% in October.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, in October of this year, the net inflow of non-commercial cross-border money transfers in Armenia amounted to $61.4 million. against $46.8 million. in October last year.-0-
