Areximbank-Gazprombank Group’s outstanding credit portfolio grows by 2.4% to 63.8 billion drams

YEREVAN, October 13. / ARKA /. Russian-owned Areximbank-Gazprombank Group said today its outstanding credit portfolio together with credit lines in the third quarter of the year grew by 2.4% to 63.8 billion drams.

According to a bank’s press release, its outstanding credit portfolio constituted 74.6% of all its assets, which in the first nine months of the year rose by 14.7% to 85.5 billion drams. According to the press release, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group’s total liabilities on October 1 stood at 70.6 billion drams, having increased from the beginning of the year by 17.4%, the total capital stood at 14.9 billion drams, and the authorized capital at 12.3 billion drams.

The bank said also its profits before tax in the first 9 months of the year reached 869.6 million drams, having increased over the same period of 2010 by 96.6%. The bank runs currently 15 branches, 6 in Yerevan and 9 in the regions.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group (formerly Areximbank) was founded in August 1998 to handle financial flows between Russia and Armenia. The Bank is a principal member of international payment systems VISA International and MasterCard International. -0-
