$99.1 million sold, $80.8 million bough by Armenia’s commercial banks between oct 17 and 21

YEREVAN, October 21. /ARKA/. Commercial banks sold $99.1 million at AMD 377.57 per one dollar and bought about $80.8 million at AMD 376.3 average price at Armenia’s intra-bank forex over a period between October 17 and 21, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Friday.

Transactions effected at $1 = AMD 378.26 average exchange rate at NASDAQ OMX Armenia Stock Exchange on U.S. dollars over the mentioned period totaled $16.8 million.

Dollar-dram exchange transactions effected at inter-bank market totaled $2 million ($1 = AMD 375.89 average exchange rate).

Armenian banks lent AMD 26.7 billion and $42.3 million over the period between October 10 and 16. ($1 = AMD 377.98). –0–
