Total volume of trading in U.S. dollars at Nasdaq Omx Armenia in November amounts to about $63.3 million

YEREVAN, December 7. /ARKA/. The total volume of currency trading in U.S. dollars at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange in November amounted to about $63.3 million, an equivalent of about 24.3 billion Armenian drams, according to an analysis conducted by ARKA news agency based on summary of NASDAQ OMX Armenia reports.
The figure represented a 27.53% increase over October, -. by
$13.7 million or about 5.5 billion drams. The total number of transactions increased by 60.42% to 539. The largest amount of transactions in November- $6.5 million- was registered on November 2 and the smallest -$650,000- on 10th of November. No transactions in Euro were effected during November.

After the combination of NASDAQ and OMX in February 2008, Armex and CDA have become fully owned by the NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. On January 27, 2009, “Armenian Stock Exchange” ojsc was officially renamed as “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” ojsc. On June 5, 2009, “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” ojsc became the owner of 100% of the shares of the “Central Depository of Armenia” ojsc ($1 – 383.24 AMD). -0-
