Average interest rate on individual deposits in 2011 December increase by 0.5% to 9.2%

YEREVAN, February 16. /ARKA/. The average interest rate on individual deposits in 2011 December increased by 0.5% from a year earlier to 9.2%, according to Central Bank of Armenia. A statement on its official website says the average rate on legal entities’ deposits increased by 0.9% from 2010 December to 8.3%.

The average interest rate on deposits in 2011 increased by 0.7 percentage points to 8.8%. There are 21 banks in Armenia. ($1 -388.89 drams). -0-

December 2024." Unlike December 2023, the growth in loan volumes (24.2%) exceeded the growth in deposit volumes (13.9%).
