ARMENIAN CENTRAL BANK to join group of banking supervisors in eastern and Central Europe

YEREVAN, April 23. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Bank is set to join the Group of Banking Supervisors of Central and Eastern Europe.

The Central Bank’s press office said today  the official ceremony will take place at the 25th Forum of Banking Supervisors of Central and Eastern Europe.
An Armenian delegation led by the chairman of the Central Bank, Artur Javadyan, left for Vienna to participate in the Forum, which will be held April 23-24.

The forum to be attended by representatives from 20 countries will discuss issues of consolidated control, application of Basel III, and issues relating to contemporary challenges. According to the press release, during the visit Javadyan will have a number of business meetings with his counterparts. -0-
