Average interest rate on dollar mortgage loans in Armenia tumbles to 12.3% in April

YEREVAN, May 24. /ARKA/. The average annual interest rate on dollar mortgage loans in Armenia dropped by 0.4 p.p. to 12.3% in April from March of this year, the data published on the Central Bank shows.

Average annual interest rate on dram mortgage loans rose by 0.3 p.p. to 12.6% in April.
Along with this, average interest rate on long-term loans in drams, allocated by the commercial banks of Armenia, slipped 1.2 p. p.  to 15.8%, and in foreign currency- fell by 0.2 p.p. to 13.2 % within the reported period.

Short-term loans in drams are allocated at 17% interest rate in April reporting no change from March; foreign currency loans- at 14.1% instead of the previous 14%. ($1- 401.59 drams). —0–
