Armenian commercial banks buy a total of $70.6 million at local forex market on May 29-June 1

YEREVAN, June 5, /ARKA/. Armenian commercial banks bought a total of $70.6 million at the local forex market on May 29-June 1 at the average exchange rate of 405.38 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia told ARKA.
It said the banks bought also about 5.7 million euros at 505.29 drams exchange rate per one euro and over 513 million rubles at 12.36 drams rate per one ruble. In the same time span the banks sold over $90.8 million at 406.99 drams rate, over €11.1 million at 508.83 drams exchange rate and 102.4 million rubles at 12.63 drams exchange rate per one ruble.
Besides, from May 21 to May 27 the banks provided 30.5 billion drams worth loans in Armenian currency and $41.7 million loans in USD. ($1 – 407.09 drams).  -0-
