Average interest rate on individual deposits in Armenian banks in May was 8.9%

YEREVAN, June 22. /ARKA/. The average interest rate on individual savings deposits in Armenian banks in May this year was 8.9%, down 0.1 percentage points from April, the Central Bank of Armenia said in a statement posted on its official website.

The average rate on corporate deposits stood at 7%, down by 0.1 percentage points if compared to April.

At the same time, the average interest rate on deposits in May decreased by 1 percentage point to 8%. Armenia has 21 commercial banks. ($1 – 417.22 drams). -0-
