Armenia’s ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK gets iso/iec 27001 cyber security standards certificate

YEREVAN, November 7. /ARKA/. Armenia’s ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK has got ISO/IEC 27001 cyber security standards certificate from Certification International (UK), the bank’s press office reported today.

ISO/IEC 27001 ISO 27001 is the international best practice standard for an Information Security Management System. It helps businesses and organizations throughout the world to develop a best-in-class Information Security Management System. The Standard was published jointly by the International Security Office (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK was established in 1996 as part of European Union’s TACIS program. French Credit Agricole S.A. holds 15.56% of the bank’s shares and SACAM International JSC 12.44%. The remaining shares belong to farmers’ unions in Armenia’s ten provinces, including Armavir (14.08%) and Ararat (12.28%). -0—-
