Real effective exchange rate of AMD stood at 2.3% in January

YEREVAN, March 15. /ARKA/. Real effective exchange rate of the Armenian dram against foreign currencies stood at 2.3% in January 2013 compared to December 2012, according to the monthly news report of Armenia’s Central Bank.

Real effective exchange rate of AMD in January dropped by 7.5% from a year earlier.

At the same time, nominal effective rate of dram against foreign currencies in January dove by 0.67% from December, and by 5.6% from a year earlier. ($1 – 414.28 drams).—0-
