Armenia posted 0.1% deflation in April 2013

YEREVAN, April 30./ARKA/. Armenia reported 0.1% month-over-month deflation in April 2013, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.

Food prices (including alcohol beverages and tobacco goods) dropped in April from March by 0.4%, prices for non-food rose by 0.5%.

Tariffs for services in April climbed by 0.2% from March.

Consumer price index in April stood at 103.9% from March, including food goods (alcohol drinks and tobacco goods)-104.3%, non-food -105.2%, tariffs for services-102.4%.
Inflation in Armenia is projected at 4% (±1.5%). —0-
