Dow Jones, S&P 500 in record territory

YEREVAN, July 12./ARKA/. The Dow Jones industrial average and S&P 500 both closed Thursday with record highs after remarks by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke that seem to indicate a continued stimulus.

The Dow rose 169.26, or 1.1 percent, to close at 15,460.92, breaking through a record set May 28.
But that wasn’t the only stock index to hit highs. The S&P 500 closed up 22.40 to 1,675.40, its highest level ever.

It wasn’t a record, but the Nasdaq was up 57.54 to close at 3,578.30 — its highest mark since 2000.—0-
