Consume prices in Jan.-Aug. in Armenia upped 5.3 percent

YEREVAN, September 20, /ARKA/. Consumer prices in Armenia in the first eight months this year rose by 5.3 percent from the year earlier, the National Statistical Service said today.

In the same time span the economic activity indicator was 3.8 percent. The government’s projection of inflation for this year is 4% (±1.5%). It also expects the GDP to expand by 6.2 percent. -0-
