Last week Armenian banks bought $90.5 million

YEREVAN, March 31. / ARKA /. Last week Armenia-based banks bought approximately $90.5 million at the local foreign currency market at the average exchange rate of 412.57 drams for one USD, the Central Bank said.

The banks also bought 4.1 million euros at the exchange rate of 567.36 drams per one euro and 675.5 million Russian rubles at 11.42 drams per 1 ruble.

The banks also sold more than 101 million USD, 10,9 million euros and 98.5 million rubles at the average exchange rates of 413.58, 571.69 and 11.60 drams respectively.

From March 24 to 28 the banks provided 31.8 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and also $47.8 million worth loans in USD. ($ 1 – 412.90 drams). -0-
