Central Banks of Russia, China discuss bypassing dollar

YEREVAN, June 26. /ARKA/. Representatives of the Bank of Russia and the People’s Bank of China discussed cooperation issued during the talks in Shanghai on June 25-26, Prime reported.

The main topic discussed was promotion of national currencies in bilateral settlements and bypassing US dollar that prevails in cooperation now. The sides also considered creation of a joint rating agency competing with Moody’s, Fitch and S&P, the website of the Russian central bank reports.

The two regulators talked about new forms of cooperation in insurance sector and expansion of interaction in financial field, according to the report. –0–
