Armenian credit organizations’ aggregate loan portfolio grows 16.8% to AMD 148.6 billion by late May 2014

YEREVAN, July 9. /ARKA/. Loans extended by Armenia’s credit organizations totaled AMD 148.6 billion in late May 2014 showing 16.8% year-on-year growth, the National Statistical Service reports.

Lending to residents amounted to AMD 148.45 in late May 2014 – 16.9% year-on-year growth. Loans in drams here amounted to AMD 93.7 billion (21.3% growth) and in foreign currencies to about AMD 54.8 billion (0% growth).

According to the statistical report, lending to households grew 24.2% to about AMD 112.7 billion, of which about AMD 79.4 billion was lent in drams (22.5% growth) and about AMD 33.3 billion in foreign currencies (28.2% growth). ($1 – AMD 407.55). -0—-
