Armenia’s Eurobond transactions at $2.6mln in October

YEREVAN, December 11. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Eurobond transactions amounted to $2.6 million in the secondary market in October, compared to $3.4 million in the month before, the Central Bank of Armenia reports in its monthly information bulletin for October 2014.

Average yield of the bonds was 5.3% in October.

According to the Central Bank, Eurobond transactions amounted to a total of $47.16 million in January-October with an average yield of 5.4%.

On September 19, 2013, Armenia issued Eurobonds for the first time. The amount of the emission was $700 million, maturity term was seven years and yield was set at 6%. General underwriters were Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, HSBC Bank plc and J.P.Morgan Securities plc. The debut Armenian Eurobonds were listed and received access to the auction at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on January 31, 2014. –0–
