Residents’ deposits in foreign currencies in Armenia’s banks grow 6.7% to AMD 734.7 billion in October

YEREVAN, December 19. /ARKA/. Residents’ deposits kept in foreign currencies in Armenia’s commercial banks totaled AMD 734.7 billion in late October after growing 6.7% since the beginning of this year, the Central Bank of Armenia reports at its official website.

Deposits in foreign currencies made up 58.6% of the aggregate deposits in Armenian commercial banks in late October.

Deposits in Armenian drams have grown 12.7% since the beginning of this year reaching AMD 518.7 billion in late October.

Deposits in Armenia’s commercial banks grew 3.8% to AMD 1 675 billion. ($1 – AMD 497). –0–
