Loan portfolio of Armenian banks’ branches in Karabakh stood at 98,234 mln drams in January

STEPANAKERT, January 15. /ARKA/. Total loan portfolio of branch offices of the Armenian commercial banks in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) stood at 98,234 million drams as of January 1 this year, an increase of 18.6% compared to the same period of 2014.

Armenia’s National Statistical Service says that it was a 23.6% growth compared to December 2014.

Foreign currency loans account for 65.3% of the overall loan portfolio; overdue loans are 0.7%.

As of January 1, 2015, deposits in Armenia’s banks amounted to a total of 58,619.1 million drams, an increase of 4.9% compared to the same period of last year and December 2014.

Time deposits are 72.8% of all deposits; call deposits and target deposits account for 18.7% and 8.5% respectively. –0–
