Some 1.461 trillion drams worth bonds were deposited at central depository of Armenia in late 2014

YEREVAN, February 23. / ARKA /.  Some 1.461 trillion drams worth securities (bonds) were deposited at the Central Depository of Armenia at the end of 2014, of which 1.423.5 trillion drams were corporate securities, Vahan Stepanyan, head of the Central depository said today.

He said foreign currency-denominated securities, fist issued last year, stood at about 33.2 billion drams.

According to him, the total amount of securities on active accounts of the Central Depository stood at about 911.4 billion drams.

He said also a total of 142 billion drams worth corporate transactions were effected last year, while the depositary blocked 120 billion drams worth bonds, including 35 billion drams as collateral.
