Armenia’s central bank registers Artak Ananyan as chief executive officer of Areximbank – Gazprombank Group.

YEREVAN, April 2. / ARKA /. Armenia’s Central Bank passed yesterday a decision to register Artak Ananyan as chief executive officer of. Areximbank – Gazprombank Group.

The bank said in a press release that Artak Ananyan was born in 1972. In 1993 he graduated from Yerevan State University, majoring in mechanical engineering. He has a PhD degree in  physics and mathematics.

In 1993-1997 he worked at the Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. In 1998-2001 he worked as economist at the Armenian Agricultural Academy. In 1998-1999 he worked as a specialist for the Central Bank.

In 2003-2010 he held various positions at Armagrobank and Ardshininvestbank. In 2015 he was appointed CEO of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group. Areximbank – Gazprombank Group founded in 1998 is owned fully by Russian Gazprombank.-0-
