ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK simplifies issuing bank account statements to its customers for presentation to foreign embassies

YEREVAN, April 9. / ARKA /. ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK has opened a new section on its official website created specifically for those of its clients who need to submit statements about their bank accounts to foreign embassies.

According to a Bank’s press release, from now on all its customers may obtain statements about their bank accounts for presentation to foreign embassies by completing the online application form, available on its official website. To do so they need to visit the “online application” section.

The Bank said thanks to this new section a customer will save time and may visit the bank only once to get the statement the next day after filling the application by paying the set fee.

ACBA was established in 1996 as part of EU’s TACIS program. As a result of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between ACBA Bank and the French Credit Agricole the latter became the biggest shareholder of ACBA in 2006, September. ACBA was restructured, becoming a closed joint stock company and was renamed ACBA CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.

According to the latest data, the bank’s assets in 2014 amounted to 286.4 billion drams; its liabilities were 237 billion drams and capital was 49.37 billion drams. ($1 – 474.99 drams). -0-
