Gold price rises by 2 percent in Armenia to 16,972 drams per gram

YEREVAN, April 14, /ARKA/. The State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency, an affiliation of Armenian Finance Ministry, has set new prices buy and sell precious stones and metals which are effective for this week.

The new prices are for one gram of chemically pure metals. The gold is to be bought at 16,972.76 drams (up by 326.13 drams from the previous week) and sold at 18,448.65 drams (up 354.49 drams); silver is to be bought at 234.45 drams (up 1.18 drams) and sold at 254.84 drams (up 1.29 drams);

platinum is to be bought at 16, 442.49 (up 553.12 drams) and sold at 17,872.28 drams (up 601.22 drams); palladium is to be bought at 10,815.59 drams (up 462.04 drams) and sold at 11,756.07 drams (up 502.21 drams) ($1- 475.03 drams). -0-
