Armenian central bank chairman travels to St. Petersburg for international banking congress

YEREVAN, June 3. /ARKA/. Arthur Javadyan, chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, flew to St. Petersburg today to attend the 24th international banking congress ‘Finance Industry. Challenges and Solutions’ in St. Petersburg, the regulator’s press office reports.

Central banks’ role in the modern world, banking regulation and supervision, reforms at over- the-counter derivative financial instruments market, the Eurasian Economic Union’s monetary policy, payment systems and enhancement of financial resources availability will be discussed at the congress.

Javadyan is set to meet with his Russian counterpart Elvira Nabiullina as part of his visit. —-0—-
