YEREVAN, August 4. /ARKA/. Overdue loans at Armenia’s commercial banks totaled AMD 40.8 billion in late June 2015, after growing 1.95% over one month, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

Short-term loans amounted to AMD 27.7 billion in late June showing a 2.2% month-on month growth and made up 67.7% of the overdue loans.

Loans with extended terms totaled about AMD 119.5 billion in June after shrinking 2.3%, compared with the previous month.

According to the statistical report, banks’ aggregate loan portfolio amounted to AMD 2 040.7 billion in late June after reducing 0.6% over the month. Loans in foreign currencies totaled about AMD 1 243.1 million. ($1 – AMD 478). —-0—–
