$66.4 million bought by commercial banks last week at Armenia’s intra-banking forex market

YEREVAN, October 19. /ARKA/. Commercial banks bought $66.4 million at 472.75 drams per one dollar at Armenia’s intra-banking foreign exchange market over a period between October 12 and 16, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

They also bought €6.7 million and 1.3 billion Russian rubles at the mentioned period at 536.48 drams and 7.6 drams respectively.

The banks sold $77.4 million, €7.7 million and 266 million Russian rubles at 473.38 drams, 542.36 drams and 7.72 drams respectively.

The loans extended by Armenia’s commercial banks in drams over a period between October 5 and 11 amounted to $33.4 billion, and dollar loans totaled $24.4 million. ($1 – AMD 472.74). —-0—–
