Central Bank puts into circulation two commemorative coins

YEREVAN, November 16. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Bank has put into circulation today a commemorative coin dedicated to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the press service of the regulator said.

It said a total of 300 silver coins with the nominal value of 1000 drams were issued. The obverse of the coin depicts the emblem of Armenia; the reverse – the emblem of the EEU against the colored background of the participating countries’ flags.

The regulator has also put into circulation another commemorative coin today dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Armenian Constitutional Court. The print run is 500 silver coins with the nominal value of 1000 drams.

The obverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms with Armenian ornaments on both sides; the reverse depicts a sculpture of the Greek goddess of Themis. -0-
