Armenia-based insurance companies among largest 1000 corporate taxpayers in 2015

YEREVAN, January 29. /ARKA/. All six Armenia-based insurance companies were among the largest 1000 corporate taxpayers in 2015 having paid a total of 1.77 billion drams in various taxes, down from 1.97 billion drams they had paid in 2014, the State Revenue Committee, an affiliation of the ministry of finance, said.

It said also about 99% of the paid taxes were direct taxes. The list includes Rosgosstrakh Armenia (575.58 million drams), Ingo-Armenia (452.7 million drams), Reso (213.7 million drams), Sil Insurance (182 million drams), Armenia Insurance (177.3 million drams) and Nairi Insurance (173.5 million drams).

Overall 2015 Armenia’s 1000 largest corporate taxpayers paid a total of 696.5 billion drams of various taxes, by 0.6% less than in the previous year.

The list is topped by the national natural gas distribution company Gazprom Armenia, which paid more than 42.6 billion drams, down from 42.8 billion drams paid in 2014 (a decline of 0.4%). ($ 1 – 488.48 drams). -0-
