Armenia’s monetary base increased 9.1% to AMD 921.3 billion in December 2015

YEREVAN, February 1. /ARKA/. Armenia’s monetary base grew 9.1% in December 2015, compared with the previous month, to AMD 921.3 billion, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

According to the statistical report based on the central bank’s preliminary figures, cash outside of the central bank exceeded AMD 413.6 billion in late December, while in late November it amounted to AMD 379.9 billion.

Correspondent accounts in drams totaled around AMD 322.7 billion in late December against around AMD 297.6 billion in late November, and correspondent accounts in foreign currencies AMD 182.8 billion against AMD 152.8 billion.

Net international reserves (less money received from privatization) totaled more than AMD 497 billion in late December after growing 22.3% over one month.

Net internal assets amounted to AMD 424.3 billion against AMD 437.8 billion. ($1- AMD 488.75). —0—-
