Bank branch robbed in central Yerevan

YEREVAN, October 9. /ARKA/. The Armenian police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed a bank branch in downtown Yerevan today afternoon.

Edgar Janoyan, the head of a Police department, in charge of relations with media, said the branch, located on Sayat Nova Avenue is run by Conversbank. Janoyan said the investigation team is working on the spot now.

According to online media reports, which cite their own sources, the robber threatened to blow himself and after taking 60 thousand euros, escaped. No other details are available so far. -0-
