Unibank opening computer rooms in Armenia’s schools

YEREVAN, May 10. /ARKA/. Unibank has embarked on the program of financing the improvement of schools as part of its social responsibility policy, the bank’s press office reported on Thursday.

Thanks to the bank’s assistance, modern computer rooms will be opened in provincial schools, particularly in border areas’ schools.

By doing that, the bank is contributing to enhancement of the quality of education.

“Social programs have always been in the focus of Unibank’s attention,” the bank says in its press release. “Assistance to children is one of the bank’s top-priority objectives.”

Classrooms have already been equipped with computers in Gyumri, the second biggest city of Armenia.

The opening ceremonies will be held soon.

Unibank was established in 2001. In 2002, it introduced Unistream system. The key shareholder of the bank is UNIHOLDING GG LIMITED. In 2015, the bank was reorganized into an open joint stock company. -0—
