Armenian central bank joins Museum Night event

YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. The visit center of the Central Bank of Armenia has joined the International Museum Day and the Museum Night event organized by the Armenian culture ministry, the regulator’s press office reported on Monday.

The event will be dedicated to the centenary of the First republic of Armenia and heroic May battles.

The visit center will be open on May 18 from 09:00 to 18:00 and on May 19 from 09:00 to 18:00.

The history of creation of the First Republic’s banknotes and the commemorative coins issued on the occasion of the centenary of the Republic and Sardarapat Battle will be presented to the center visitors.

Visitors will get familiar with Armenia’s history of money circulation – from ancient metallic coins to contemporary banknotes – as well as protective characteristics of the Armenian dram.

As many as 116 museums of Armenia and Artsakh will take part in the Museum Night event. -0—
