Customs officers thwart illegal import of cryptocurrency mining equipment

YEREVAN, March 12, /ARKA/. Armenian State Revenue Committee said today its officers thwarted an illegal import of equipment for cryptocurrency mining.

According to the State Revenue Committee, customs officers revealed the equipment in a bus of an Iranian citizen when he was crossing the Georgian border into Armenia at Bagratashen border check point
The customs employees revealed a cache with 13 cryptocurrency mining equipment hidden near the engine.

The case was handed to the anti-smuggling department of the State Revenue Committee. -0-
