Armenian government and central bank intend to change mortgage program for young families

YEREVAN, March 22. /ARKA/. The Armenian government and the Central Bank of Armenia are planning to make some changes in the mortgage program for young families, Mesrop Araqelyan, the prime minister’s advisor, reports on his Facebook page.

In the event of birth or adoption of a baby throughout the period of the mortgage loan validity, the interest rate for repayment of the remaining sum is downed by 0.5 percent.

For example, in case of three children in the family, mortgage loan interest rate may stand at 4%. -0—-
